GROUPE ADP - airport group world-wide

A global airport group organized around 23 airports, Groupe ADP welcomed 101.5 million passengers in Paris in 2017 (+ 4,5% vs 2016) It owns and operates the second airport system in Europe, consisting of Paris-Orly, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Le Bourget

Groupe ADP is a builder, operator and manager of airports. Organized around the parent company Aéroports de Paris SA and its subsidiaries and offers its customers multiple know-how in design, development and management of infrastructure, reception and development of passenger services, commercial activities, real estate, security, telecommunications specialized.

A public limited company since 2005, majority owned by the State, it was listed on the stock market in 2006 and 83% of employees became shareholders. A five-year Economic Regulatory Contract (CRE) governs the company's relations with the State, sets the airline's fees and the company's commitments in terms of service and quality.

The 40s and 50s
These two decades have been marked by the creation and growth of the Group, which is expanding on its two Paris-Le Bourget and Paris-Orly platforms. In 1952, Paris-Orly airport welcomes 1.2 million passengers
The 60s
Orly Sud was inaugurated by Charles de Gaulle in 1961. It became the most visited site in France while the late sixties sees the start of the major Paris-Charles de Gaulle building to anticipate future needs
The 70's
Opening of Orly West in 1971 and arrival of the first Boeing 747 and Airbus which marks the beginning of the mass transport and the development of the charters. Terminal 1 at Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, inaugurated in 1974
The 80s
The second oil shock in the early 1980s affects growth and the pace of work is slowing down. Terminals B, A and D of Terminal 2 of CDG open from 1981 to 1989
The 90's
In 1993, CDG's 2C terminal opened up Schengen agreements abolishing the border controls of European countries. Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport becomes the preferred European site for intercontinental and intercontinental flights. In 1996 Air France creates its hub at CDG 2. In 1998 the terminal 2F is put into service
The 2000s
The events of 11 September 2001 increase security measures. CDG's Terminal 2E was inaugurated in 2003. In 2005, the company changed status and became a public limited company
CDG's regional 2G terminal opens in 2009. Paris-Charles de Gaulle's capacity is increased and allows the alliance of companies' alliances to be brought together while increasing the commercial offer
The years 2010
In 2017, the Group's head office is located in the heart of CDG. About 1,000 companies generating more than 120,000 jobs are located on Parisian platforms The Group employs 8,851 people.

...and our team

The Paris CDG Airport football team in it's current form was created in 2001, and has since continued to progress and cross the levels, culminating in the 2009 season and a 1/4 final. France accompanied by the rise at the highest level of the "Enterprise" (DH) football of the Paris league, to maintain the highest level. We have started a new cycle for 2 seasons with new and young players who have given us a glimpse of real prospects.Once again ambitious, we have strengthened our group in order to convey in Paris and in France the image of a team proud to represent Groupe ADP as a dynamic and exciting company. All members of this group, and without exception, are committed to and respectful of the values and spirit of our company. It is a rich workforce of investment, pride, which makes efforts for many years.

Groupe ADP organised the tournament of European airports in 1986, and returns there 25 years after it's last participation, without forgetting that it had also hosted the 8th and last tournament of the French speaking airports in 2005.
